Verizon to launch HTC Imagio on Oct 6th for $199.99
Verizon Wireless and HTC have announced a new touchscreen smartphone called the HTC Imagio running on Widows Mobile 6,5 OS. The HTC Imagio will feature a extra-large 3.6” color display with HTC TouchFLO 3D touchscreen interface and global roaming capabilities for data access in more than 185 destinations. This phone will be the first Verizon phone to support V CAST mobile TV that allows customers to enjoy the best of broadcast and cable television programming – including live shows and other mobile television content – 24 hours a day from many of the best-known entertainment channels available today. This V CAST mobile TV feature will cost you $15 per month.
Other key features include an on-screen QWERTY keyboard, 5.0 megapixel camera with auto focus, Wifi and music with Rhapsody services.
Pricing and availability:
The HTC Imagio will cost $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement. It will be available for purchase online at www.verizonwireless.com beginning Oct. 6 and in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores beginning Oct. 20.
