Verizon announces HTC Droid Incredible; coming on April 29
Verizon and HTC have officially announced the new HTC Droid Incredible smartphone that combines the power of Android and the usability of HTC Sense UI. The newest Android device on the Verizon Wireless 3G network, will be available beginning April 29 at a pricing of $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
The HTC Droid Incredible with a “topographic” design will feature a 1GHz superfast Qualcomm Snapdragon processor running on Android OS 2.1 with the HTC Sense. Also featured is a seven-panel home screen with a wide selection of interactive widgets so the most important content is immediately available at a touch.
The Droid Incredible also features a 3.7 inch WVGA (480×800) AMOLED capacitive touch display and also a 8 Megapixel camera with dual LED flash.
You can pre-order this smartphone online at www.verizonwireless.com beginning on April 19 and it will be in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores on April 29. DROID Incredible customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk and an Email and Web for Smartphone plan. Nationwide Talk plans begin at $39.99 monthly access. Email and Web for Smartphone plans start at $29.99 for unlimited monthly access.
