Sprint is expected to make an announcement Friday July 31st about the rollout of Android 2.2 (Froyo) update for HTC EVO 4G.  As per the pictures obtained by engadget the update will be pushed out starting the week of 8/1.

Some of the major improvements with this update will be new preloaded widgets, using the camera’s LED flash as a flashlight, light-assisted 720p video, and "improvement" to the quality of video capture, camera rotation in 4 orientation, adjustable alarm volume, and many more.
