Samsung has officially done a press release about its all new Samsung Galaxy S smartphone powered by Android 2.1 OS. Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy S has been released in Europe, and will follow on to the rest of the world – US included – later in 2010 with over 100 carriers and operators getting ready to start offering the phone.

The Galaxy S will feature Samsung’s dazzlingly bright 4-inch Super AMOLED screen and a 1 GHz application processor running on Google Android 2.1 OS along with the Samsung’s super-fast TouchWiz 3.0 user-interface (UI). With less reflection, free viewing angles and super-fast touch-response, the large 4-inch Super AMOLED display delivers unrivalled screen quality.
With Samsung Galaxy S, users will be introduced to what Samsung call “SmartLife” enabled through intuitive, integrative features, including the Swype text input service, the rich augmented reality browser, Layar, and advanced Location Based Service (LBS) capabilities. The mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) technology which is used in Samsung’s best-selling LCD and LED TVs will boost an even sharper and crisper viewing experience for photos, videos, and e-books.
It creates a perfect environment to record, edit and play HD video, to browse the Internet, and to read your favorite e-books. A variety of applications from Android Market™ allows users to even more extend the benefits and excitement of smart phone experience.
