Motorola and Sprint have unveiled the world’s first push-to-talk (PTT) Android-powered device called Motorola i1 at the CTIA Wireless convention in Las Vegas. The Motorola i1 is a iDEN device featuring a 3.1" HVGA vibrant display and a 5 megapixel camera with flash, video, geotagging and panoramic capabilities. Motorola i1 brings push-to-talk functionality into a touch screen design. Multitasking is made easier with an option to toggle push-to-talk calls to the background, allowing you to manage emails, messages and more.

The Motorola i1 delivers the rich experience of Android with features including SwypeTM keyboard entry, corporate email, an optimized Web browsing experience with Opera Browser and customizable widgets. Its solid body construction meets Military specifications for protection against dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.
