BoyGeniusReport  has got hold of a screen shot of Verizon October calendar that has info on some of the upcoming marketing and product launches. Prominent among them is the launch date of the new touch screen device from Motorola which is referred to as Sholes.

This Motorola handset also referred to as Tao or Droid will be the first Google Android OS based device from Verizon. As per the above screen shot it is clear now that Verizon has set a target date of October 30th for the launch for Motorola Sholes.

Another Verizon launch that is of importance from the screen shot (bottom left) is the HTC Imagio which as reported earlier is scheduled for Oct. 6 (online purchase) and in Stores beginning Oct. 20.
