Developer flpalm has developed a new Google voice application for the Palm pre called the  gDial Pro. Along with nine other new applications, gDial Pro offers Palm Pre users the ability to access Google Voice’s various features, including a dialer, recent calls screen, text messages screen, and what looks to be a favorites menu.

The best feature among most of the Google Voice applications is the ability to dial out using your own Google Voice number.  This free Unofficial Google Voice client for the Palm Pre provides an easy way to call your contacts or send them text messages from your Google Voice number instead of your cell number. You can also view your Google Voice history and make account changes all within the application.
