Gameloft ‘Brothers in Arms’ shooter Game comes to iPhone 3G
Gameloft has announced the release of “Brothers in Arms: Hour of Heroes” for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game costs $9.99 and is available for purchase from the App Store.
Brother in Arms is one of the first fully featured 3rd person shooter game for the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. With a complete 3D engine, Brother in Arms really shows the capabilities of the iPhone and iPod Touch as a mobile game platform. There have been casual games released left and right but this one really shows it’s full potential.
The bottom right circle(with the dot in it) is your directional controller. Moving the dot to the left/right makes your character strafe and up/down make him walk forward and backward. You can move the crosshair by touching the middle of the screen. . .and moving it. Touch the bottom right button to shoot(and you can hold it down), touch the top right button to throw a grenade.
Brother in Arms does a great job of making a FPS game fun on the iPhone and iPod Touch. The game comes with an aim-assist which is necessary in this fast paced action game.
