Yahoo! releases Search, Mail and Messenger Apps for Android

Yahoo today released many of their products for the Android platform including Android widget for Yahoo search, Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger apps and also HTML5 optimized Yahoo Mail and Yahoo News site.  These latest apps are optimized for popular Android devices like HTC Incredible, Motorola Droid Google Nexus One and HTC EVO 4G. And they are available for download from the Android Market for Android OS 2.0 and above.

Sling Media releases SlingPlayer for Android Smartphones

Sling Media Inc today announced the availability of its SlingPlayer Mobile application for Android Smartphones like Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Incredible, HTC Evo and Google Nexus One. The SlingPlayer application allows the Android phone users to easily access their home TV experience anywhere with their mobile phone or Wi-Fi internet access.

Samsung has officially done a press release about its all new Samsung Galaxy S smartphone powered by Android 2.1 OS. Samsung has confirmed that Galaxy S has been released in Europe, and will follow on to the rest of the world – US included – later in 2010 with over 100 carriers and operators getting ready to start offering the phone.
