Yahoo! releases Search, Mail and Messenger Apps for Android

Yahoo today released many of their products for the Android platform including Android widget for Yahoo search, Yahoo Mail and Yahoo Messenger apps and also HTML5 optimized Yahoo Mail and Yahoo News site.  These latest apps are optimized for popular Android devices like HTC Incredible, Motorola Droid Google Nexus One and HTC EVO 4G. Verizon Motorola Droid X Technical Specifications and Gallery

The all new Motorola Droid X from Verizon which will be available from July 15th nationwide has a impression feature set and specs. At launch it will run on  TI OMAP 3640 1GHz processor powered by the Android 2.1 OS which will eventually be updated to Android 2.2 later this summer. Verizon Wireless today at a big event organized in New York unveiled the next generation droid the Motorola Droid X smartphone. Sling Media releases SlingPlayer for Android Smartphones

Motorola Droid X gets previewed

The folks at engadget got their hands on the yet to be announced Motorola Droid X smartphone. It features a 4.4 inch FWVGA 854 x 480-resolution screen and has a 8-megapixel camera, that records 720p video.
According to various rumors on the internet, the Droid X should be launching on July 19th. Stores will start prepping for the launch with new window decor come July 18th, with stores opening early on the morning of the big day. Check out some more pictures and a hands-on video after the break
